Dr. Wilson is a professor of history. She has a passion for facilitating student success and helping students think critically about the past and about our world today.
Whether teaching about peasants and apprentices in the sixteenth century or Europeans suffering through the great wars of the 20th century, I love to explore with students in class the questions that shape our human experience. How do people in different times and places face the challenges of life? How can we understand people whose world was very different from our own in fundamental ways, and yet still wanted many of the same things? These are the kinds of questions that we explore together in class as we seek to understand the past.
